The TET (Trans Euro Trail), 4 km from the house

The Trans Euro Trail (TET) is a network of routes for adventure motorbikes across Europe, largely on unpaved tracks. The GPS tracks are free and kept up to date by volunteers. The TET is an independent project: Maison Coeurdacier is neither a partner nor affiliated with it, and we mention it simply because it passes a few kilometres from us.

According to the official track for France, the route passes about 4 km from the house as the crow flies. It comes from the north, through the Vittel and Contrexéville area, crosses the forests around Monthureux-sur-Saône and then continues south-east. The tracks change regularly: always download the latest version just before you set off, from the official Trans Euro Trail website.

These tracks are a suggestion, not an obligation: adapt them to your motorbike, the weather and your level, and respect local rules.

What we offer TET riders

  • A closed garage for your motorbike. Your machine spends the night under cover, at the house.
  • Breakfast from 7 am, at 8 € per person: coffee, tea or hot chocolate, fruit juice, croissant, baguette, jams and butter.
  • A table d'hôtes at 15 € per person, by reservation: soup, Vosges salad, cheese and apple crumble. No need to get back on the bike in the evening to find a restaurant.
  • Late arrival possible, on request. If your day on the trails runs long, let us know: we will arrange things with you.

Breakfast and the table d'hôtes can be booked directly when you book your room. For a late arrival, write to us or call us with your expected arrival time.

An ideal stopover, at your own pace

Whether you are making a one-night stop on your way south or staying several days in the Vosges, the house is a quiet base: a calm village, a large oak forest (Darney forest) around you and shops in the heart of the village.

The house was a small family hotel until 1941, and it welcomes travellers again: discover its history. To plan your outings, you will find ideas for visits and good places to eat on the page Things to do around Monthureux-sur-Saône.

If you travel by bike, the Voie Bleue passes through Corre, about 15 km away: the same garage also shelters bikes and recharges electric bikes.
